I laughed with myself a lot the day I took the photos that inspired “Wilshire 1 & 2.”
The historic structure of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel caught my attention on a passing
drive, and I stopped to take a few photos. The intention to take a few photos turned
into an hour of me snapping pictures of traffic and feeling as though I had won the
lottery each time a yellow cab drove thru my camera frame. I love yellow taxis.
